Relay Colorado offers Spanish-speaking people the opportunity to take advantage of all relay services. Spanish-speaking people who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard-of-hearing, or have a speech disability can place a Spanish Relay call just like any other relay call. Relay Colorado does this by providing translation, upon request, from Spanish-to-English or English-to-Spanish.

TTY users can type their conversation to a Relay Operator (OPR). The Operator reads aloud the typed message to a standard phone user, whose spoken reply is then typed back to the TTY user by the Operator.

Hearing individuals can use a standard phone or a cell phone to call TTY users. A Relay Operator will come on the line to relay the call. The Operator types the spoken words of the standard phone user for the TTY user to read. The Operator then reads aloud the typed responses from the TTY user.
